The Role:
- Teaching English to small classes of secondary-aged students
- Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
- Supporting students who may have SEMH needs or barriers to learning
- Building positive relationships that encourage engagement and progress
- Monitoring and assessing student achievement
- Working closely with pastoral teams and support staff
- Creating a safe, structured and supportive learning environment
- Helping students develop confidence, communication and literacy skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching English at secondary level
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to engage and motivate students with diverse needs
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to helping every student achieve their potential
