Location: County Wexford, Ireland
Salary: Up to €48,000 + Bonus + On-Call Allowances

The Opportunity
This position is based in County Wexford, where the primary focus will be on maintaining nearby wind farm assets. Due to the reactive nature of the role, candidates must be located within the region.
You will also support maintenance activities across other sites in Ireland, with occasional international travel across Europe.
Participation in an on-call rota is required, with additional allowances paid for out-of-hours and weekend cover.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned preventative and corrective maintenance on wind turbines and associated substations
- Carry out mechanical, electrical, diagnostic and safety inspections
- Troubleshoot faults and perform repairs to minimise downtime
- Monitor turbine performance, alarms, and asset reliability
- Complete technical reports and maintain accurate service documentation
- Update maintenance histories and CMMS systems
- Work closely with operations, dispatch, and technical teams
- Ensure strict compliance with all QHSE and safety procedures
- Participate in safety meetings, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or similar
- Minimum 2 years of technical maintenance experience within wind, utilities, or industrial environments
- Strong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding capability
- Experience reading electrical schematics
- Experience working on Senvion wind turbines is highly desirable
- Exposure to other OEMs such as Enercon, Nordex, GE, Siemens or Vestas is advantageous
- HV/LV certifications or relevant electrical experience
- Practical high-voltage maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to work at height safely
- Good physical fitness for field-based work
- Fluent English is essential
- Strong understanding of safety procedures with the ability to assess and communicate risk effectively
- Experience with blade inspection, endoscopy, or advanced turbine inspection techniques is advantageous
- Full driving licence
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when required
